“Her stage presence mirrored her playing: calm, confident, and controlled... [She] easily navigated the tricky passages with a sweet, singing sound … [and] displayed her abilities to truly sing through the instrument with a shimmering vibrato.”

— The International Trumpet Guild (2019)

  • In her role as the Assistant Director of Engagement and Programming at Berklee College of Music, Chloe oversees programming and community engagement at both Berklee and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Since March 2022, she has coordinated Berklee’s graduation ceremonies for both Black students and LGBTQ+ students, alongside spaces for identity-based conversations including a panel discussion and trivia event for both Pride Month and Asian, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Chloe coordinated Berklee’s Latinx and Hispanic Heritage Celebration, which included performances and a moderated panel discussion including faculty, staff, and students. She also coordinated a field trip for students, faculty, and staff to celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day at a celebration in Newton, Massachusetts, and has coordinated events with Berklee’s Health and Wellness office to ensure students take advantage of mental health resources and receive education on creative health practices.

In her role at Berklee, Chloe also serves as a staff fellow for the Social Justice Living Learning Community and as a mentor to students in the Black Scholars Initiative. In order to ensure that students have a voice in driving conversations related to both systemic and cultural changes within the Berklee community, she created and oversees the Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador Program. In addition, she holds a weekly conversation series - Community Space for Conversations - that encourages community members to engage in civil discourse and understand new perspectives about the intersection of current events, arts industry practices, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Predating the Community Space for Conversations and her work at Berklee, Chloe created “The Common Ground Series: Community Conversations”, a series that provides a space for people with varying levels of “common ground” to engage in respectful discussions on topics affecting their community.

While a graduate student, Chloe served as Co-Chair of the Anti-Racism Anti-Discrimination Action Committee at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music and hosted a weekly Anti-Racism Mindfulness series in the spring of 2021.
