COMMUNITY

Yale School of Music Black Collective’s First Open Meeting

Community is one of Chloe Swindler’s core values. As a student of life, she believes that as we make the transition from hearing to truly listening to the people within our communities, that is where our true personal growth begins. Whether it is through her creation of the Common Ground Series: Community Conversations, her leadership as co-chair of the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music (HASOM) Anti-Racism Action Committee, or her role as the founder of the Yale School of Music Black Collective, conversation and understanding are always at the core of her mission.
